General Passport Requirement: All foreign visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their planned date of arrival in Vietnam, with at least two blank pages remaining.
Visa-Free Entry Allowance by Country
Nationals from specific countries enjoy unilateral or bilateral visa waivers allowing stay without a visa for designated durations:

Phu Quoc Island Special Exemption: Foreigners arriving directly on Phu Quoc Island (via sea or air transit through an international airport in Vietnam) are exempt from visa requirements for up to 30 days, provided Phu Quoc is their sole destination.
